A Healthy Ride to Wealth

Trust The Process

Even if Spring season is officially there, Winter doesn’t seem to be willing to leave the place yet.

As seen in my picture below, the pool is again getting under the snow.

My pool, March 23rd 2024

March is like that. Sometimes it makes us believe Spring is on the right track to win the race but Winter, with all its combativeness, resists the invader and take back its place. It’s a fight of Titans.

Nevertheless, Spring always win, year after year, even if March tries really hard to fool us to believe that snow is there to stay.

March is like the wrestling promoter trying to convince that the fight is not tricked, the winner being already chosen backstage.

We don’t know when, but we are sure that one day soon, we’ll get there; snow will melt and flowers will bloom.

Nature is on a proven plan. Even if some events look like adversity to us, mother nature knows what to do and when it’s the proper time to do it.

After the rain, there’s always the sun.

My business too is on a proven plan. But sometimes, I feel it hard to trust the process.

I took also this picture this morning. It shows the ball of my children getting pressed down by the snow like if it was getting a bad time.

This is what gave me the inspiration for this blog by the way, because this represents really well how I was feeling this week.

I was feeling oppressed, like pressed down between my day job and by business, between writing my blog and producing another TikTok video to keep my momentum.

This exactly represents what is adversity for me. I know this is only March fooling me again…

Eventually the proven plan will reveal itself, delivering me from those temporary flashes of adversity, and bring me to success.

I simply need to trust the process and pursue committing to my tasks.

Sophie Sion-Byles, a coach at Internet Profits, said this week on a live that trusting the process is like trusting our GPS when we are lost, knowing that the GPS will bring us safely at our destination.

This week I felt also like I don’t really know how to deal with my priorities. Like I said, I postponed the writing of this blog because I wanted to create more TikTok videos.

Like a dog running after its tail, I was going nowhere to make the job done.

I was acting as if I was desperately chasing after my followers, almost in panic of not finding the trick to blast the 200 views barrier. This inspired me with this sentence:

Don’t chase your followers, your followers will find you!

😉

I need to take more time and be patient I guess, focusing on one thing at a time and complete the project before starting another one.

Again, I need to trust the process and keep doing the tasks that needs to be done until I make it works.

Doing videos takes a lot of time for me, and my lack of English expressions and vocabulary affect the way I would like to pass on my message like I would have done it in French. However, this is not a show stopper as my English seems to improve and I feel more confident with it so that’s a good thing.

Also I think I’m on the right way as I found a style, my likes increasing seamlessly. Here is my latest TikTok. Its about overcoming our fears of getting online and starting a business:

That’s it for this week.

This was a short post but with a clear message:

Trust the process… you are on a proven plan!

P.S. I forgot to say that last week I heard from Dean that Affiliate System, you know the all in one platform from which I do all my affiliate marketing tasks, is to be released really soon to general public. This means I going to be in front row to teach you how it works and bring to your attention the best initial offers just for you. Stay tuned!

Good first Tik Tok! I enjoy seeing our community one by one playing the Tik Tok game! It is wonderful to witness all of us taking the Leap Of Faith!!

I like your way of saying this: “the Leap of Faith”! This represents really well how we feel with doing those TikTok!
      Thanks Kate!

Martin, you’re absolutely right, you have to trust the process. Sometimes we don’t understand it or why we have to do certain things in a certain order but there is a reason. That’s why we got a coach to show us how to do it. I’ve tried to follow everything as Dean has told us step-by-step and not deviate at all. It’s hard because you come up with ideas and start experimenting so you have to pull back in. I’m following you on TikTok and watching your videos. You’re doing really well carry on. Thanks, Atif.

Let’s go on and keep this positive mindset! Thanks for looking at my videos.

    Hi Martin,

Love the message. ‘Trust the Process’. I needed to hear it this week!

And I loved your TikTok and the message of not letting other people
stop you from doing what you want to do.

Don’t get distracted from the process. You’re on a proven plan!

    Hi, Martin!

I especially enjoyed your blog post this week. I’m glad you’re overcoming your fears and doing the tasks.

I can relate to getting caught up in all the tasks and losing sight of what’s most important.

On Sundays, I list all that needs to be done in the coming week and plan how I will fit it in. I can see what special happenings going on that week might prevent me from getting things done and plan accordingly.

What’s hard is seeing that some tasks just aren’t going to get done to my satisfaction. Then, I just have to change my expectations of what can be done to fit what can actually be done that week. That’s the hardest part. Sometimes, I feel a bit defeated, but I know I have to overcome that and feel good about what I can do. Then, I just trust the process of progress!

Progress is the goal. As long as I’m doing that, my business will make it! This process helps me have a healthy outlook the rest of the week. I hope that helps!

    Cheers to you, my friend!

Thanks for your tips Nakina, I must admit that, apart from the list of dinners for the week with the grocery list I do on Sundays maybe I could get down the list of tasks for my business too the same way. Good idea, I appreciate.

Martin, this is GREAT! For some reason, I couldn’t link directly to your TikTok page, but I searched for you to take a peek into your world. You are doing awesome and I really enjoy watching your videos and reading your blog. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Vanessa! even if the link wasn’t working for you, you managed to find my channel on TikTok.

    Hi Martin,
Great post and great comment! I’m right there with you when it comes to the “fear of success”!
Taking time off and going on a vacation was the perfect time to review what was holding me back and how to break through.
Looking forward to your posts and to our success!
    All the best,

Thank you Marc! I’m always impressed by the quality of your voice and audio recordings by the way.
      Glad you found your way.

    Hi Martin,

Great video on YouTube! Trusting the process is the way to go. If you can’t have faith in yourself, and in the process of what you’re doing then it’s very hard to accomplish anything. Don’t worry the sun will come out again soon, and the snow will go away… 🙂 Great job! Thanks

    Martin,

Trusting the process can be a hard thing to do. I must admit that I am guilty of getting off track because things are not going as I though they should. Then this leads me to chasing rabbit and reinventing the wheel.

With this latest endeavor I have committed to following the process, which I’ve done so far, it hasn’t been easy at times. In stead of wandering off I am keeping focus and having patience.

You are doing great. Keep focus and moving forward.
    CJ

    1. Martin Lefebvre Avatar

We all need patience I think and to commit to the process. I know it’s not easy because we would like to go fast but that’s not the way it works.
The fastest path is the one we are in.

    Hang in there Martin,

You are getting better and better at your Tiktoks.. 🙂

Great post. I think I’m the ball too… haha.. We are all here to help eachother.
    Just keep moving forward.

The ball is cool. I didn’t touch anything. It just was like this that morning, I found it fun so I took the picture.
The more I look at it, the more I feel like I need vacations.😁

Martin, fear is definitely a common reason for failure. We are the biggest thing standing in our way. TikTok has been quite overwhelming for me as well, but I am grateful we have a proven plan to follow; Dean is taking us through it slowly and telling us to go at our own pace. It is easy for me to get lost in social media content creation and run out of time, I think it is important to be consistent so I set a timer do my best and let it free into the world. Beta then better. Glad you have overcome your fear, your TikToks are great, I enjoy following you!

    1. Martin Lefebvre Avatar

At least if you understand what I say in the video, this might be OK I guess 😄. I like your idea with the timer!
Thank you for your comment Alison.

    You are not alone Martin.
Last month I only made one post, and I am also behind schedule this month.
I was wondering what people say about this side hustle and spending one hour a day on it. When I wrote down the daily activities I should perform, 6 hours wouldn’t be enough.
But I trust the process, slowly following a proven path. I also started my TikTok and getting close to the magic number of 1k subscribers.
    All the best.
    Tom

    1. Martin Lefebvre Avatar

Hi Tom! 1hr a day for me is clearly not enough. Actually doing one TikTok video with me speaking takes almost half a day. 😄 I record sentence by sentence and sometimes, have to repeat same part 10 times. I know I need some improvement in this field.

    Martin,
I absolutely loved everything about your post! From the sight of your snow-covered pool to the ball getting smushed by snow (I couldn’t help but laugh at that!), and your courage to post your first TikTok video. Your video was fantastic—I really enjoyed it. Keep up the amazing work! I have no doubt that success is in store for you.
