Internet Profits Academy Free Access: Every Step, No Surprises

I don’t like clicking into something without knowing what’s on the other side. That’s an engineer thing, probably — before I recommend anyone touch a system, I want to have traced it myself, start to finish.

So before I kept sending people toward Internet Profits Academy free access, I sat down and walked through the entire signup process myself. Multiple devices, incognito mode, even had a couple of other people click through on their own phones to see if they hit anything I missed.

Here’s every step, exactly as it happened.

Why I’m Writing This Down

A while back I noticed something odd in my numbers: people were clicking my link toward the free Academy subscription, but almost none of them were finishing the signup. Not a trust problem, not a traffic problem — something in the process itself was likely losing people.

Turns out there’s more to it than “click a link, watch a video.” There’s a short video, a few slides, a plan-selection screen with three tiers on it, and a signup form after that. None of it is hidden or shady. It’s just more steps than the phrase “free access” implies, and if you don’t know they’re coming, the plan screen in particular can look like a bait-and-switch even when it isn’t.

So here’s the walkthrough, step by step, so nothing surprises you.

Step 1: The Welcome Video

When you land on the page, you’ll see a short welcome video from Dean Holland. No signup required to watch it. He introduces the Model One Method — the framework the whole free challenge is built around.

Step 2: Three Info Slides

Below the video are three slides you can click through:

The Model One 60-Minute Challenge — what it is when you join the Internet Profits Academy and what it walks you through

What’s On the Inside — what a subscription actually includes

Community of Winners — the group you’d be joining

Worth actually reading these rather than skipping past them. They’re the clearest explanation of what you’re signing up for before you commit to anything.

Step 3: The “Join Group” Button

Underneath the slides is a “Join Group” button, along with more detailed sales copy about the Model One Challenge. Clicking “Join Group” is where things get slightly confusing if you don’t know what’s coming next.

Step 4: The Plan Selection Screen

After clicking “Join Group,” you land on a screen with three options:

1. Standard — $0/month. Access to the Model One Challenge, the community, and monthly member hangouts.

2. Premium — $49/month. Everything in Standard, plus the complete Model One system (not just the 60-minute challenge), live growth lab sessions, and daily expert help sessions.

3. VIP — $99/month. Everything in Premium, plus direct weekly access to Dean Holland, weekly “constraints crusher” sessions, 1-on-1 time with Dean, “what’s working now” sessions, and monthly workshops.

This is the step that trips people up. Seeing $49 and $99 sitting right next to $0, even if they are hidden under tabs on a mobile phone, makes a lot of people assume the free option isn’t really free, or that there’s a catch buried somewhere.

There isn’t. I confirmed this directly with Dean: Standard is genuinely $0/month, no credit card required at any point in the signup. If you want the free subscription, that’s the one to click.

Step 5: Creating Your Account

Once you select Standard, you’ll be asked for:

– Your name

– Your email

– A password

Then you’ll need to confirm your email — check your inbox for that step, it won’t let you continue without it.

Step 6: Three Quick Questions

Last step: you’ll answer three short questions to get access to the Skool community itself. Nothing complicated, just enough for the group to know a bit about who’s joining.

And that’s it. Video, slides, Join Group, pick Standard, sign up, confirm your email, answer three questions. About five minutes total, start to finish, and genuinely free the whole way through.

What the Model One 60-Minute Challenge Actually Covers

Since you’ll see this mentioned throughout the process, here’s what it walks you through once you’re in:

1. Set your direction — get clear on your “freedom number” and what you’re actually building, and why

2. Discover your topic — find the best topic based on what you already know, enjoy, or have lived through

3. Identify your audience — understand who you’d be serving and what they actually need

4. Build your path to income — validate the opportunity and lock in a direction

The Honest Bottom Line

I wrote this because “click here for free access” undersells how many steps are actually involved, and an unexplained pricing screen in the middle of a “free” signup is exactly the kind of thing that makes people bail halfway through — not because anything’s wrong, but because nobody told them what to expect.

Now you know. If you want to go through it yourself, the free Internet Profits Academy access starts here: Start my free subscription to Internet Profits Academy

And if you’re not ready for that yet, I’ve also got a free 11-minute breakdown from Dean you can grab with just your email — no account, no plan screen, nothing to navigate. That’s on my bridge page.

P.S. — If you get partway through this and hit something that doesn’t match what I described, reply or email me. I’d genuinely like to know, so I can fix it here too.
